This year our Super Cooper race (named after Cooper Fontenot) will be held at Parc Putnam in downtown Lafayette (813 Lafayette St.) across from the courthouse. We have another great race in store this year and we are hoping to celebrate our 10th year in a big way. 

We will have music, food and drinks free to all particpants and volunteers. We will also have giveways and awards for our racers. We're still planning other cool post-race activities, so sign up soon! Post race activites are free to all paid participants and volunteers.

As you may know, all proceeds from this race will help children who are born with heart defects attend a very awesome summer camp right here in Acadiana. Camp Bon Coeur is a summer camp for kids dealing with cardiovascular issues. Based in South Louisiana, the camp takes place annually in July and provides a fun and safe environment for "cardiac campers" who have the need for additional support because of their heart conditions.

Your involvement with our race will not only provide you with a gratifying and healthy start to a Saturday morning in October, but will also help a young child attend this great camp where there are no limitations to the fun they can have.

Volunteers are a big part of what we do. If you are unsure about running or walking the race, you can still be a part of our event by volunteering. It's fun and easy and very rewarding. Volunteering for our race is also a great way for high school students to log service hours that they may need for school.

There are 3 ways to register for the upcoming Super Cooper Heart Run. Remember that early entry ends on October 13th.

1 - Register online following the link.
2 - Open the registration form, fill in the form, print it out and mail it in.
3 - Race day registration will be available at Parc Putnam (race shirts available only while supplies last for race day registration).

You can still register on the morning of the race at Parc Putnam beginning at 7 a.m.
